A brief description of the events of the series
The Fringe series is an exciting story about how FBI agent Olivia Dunham, talented scientist Walter Bishop and his son Peter encounter mysterious phenomena related to science that transcend traditional understanding. The events focus on research into phenomena such as telepathy, levitation, invisibility, reincarnation, and genetic mutation. The characters try to understand the nature of these anomalies using a scientific approach that often goes beyond the theories they know.
In the course of their research, the trio discovers the existence of a parallel universe inhabited by their alternate versions: another Olivia Dunham and another Walter Bishop. The key point is the involvement of Walter from our universe in destabilizing the balance between the worlds. This was due to his decision to cross the boundaries of reality and take Peter away from a parallel universe in order to save him from a terminal illness. This intervention was the reason for the appearance of the so-called "Model". Later, it becomes clear that everything that is happening was carefully prepared by mysterious beings known as "Observers" who have been directing the course of events for a long time.
