News:Review of the film The Conjuring: Last Rites
Review of the film The Conjuring: Last Rites August 19, 2025 The film "The Conjuring: Last Rites" is one of the key movie premieres of 2025, demonstrating the continuation of the legendary franchise dedicated to the investigation of paranormal phenomena. The official release date in the United States is scheduled for September 5, 2025, but viewers from countries such as Germany, Denmark and Singapore will be able to see the film a day earlier. The project has already entered the list of the most anticipated new films of 2025. The plot of the film again focuses on the activities of the famous demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, known for their research and confrontation with mysterious supernatural entities. In the new chapter of the franchise, they encounter the frightening story of the Smurl family, who are faced with active manifestations of a demonic presence after moving to a new house. To cope with this multi-level challenge, the heroes will have to use all their accumulated knowledge and professional intuition. The project is directed by Michael Chaves, who was inspired by the emotional depth and drama of Marvel's Logan when creating the final part of the franchise. This choice speaks of the director's desire to add not only a dynamic storyline to the project, but also a serious psychological subtext. The main cast includes outstanding performers: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Madison Lawlor, Ben Hardy and Bo Gadsdon. It is their experience and skill that ensure the successful embodiment of complex characters and the tense atmosphere of the film. At the moment, the question of the possibility of Russian theatrical release of this work remains uncertain. International distribution is carried out by Warner Bros., which has been curtailing its activities in Russia since 2022. This circumstance may limit the availability of the film for viewers in this country, which creates additional questions regarding its distribution at the global level. The Conjuring Universe |
