Plot

A brief description of the events of the series

The Crain family decides to radically change their lives and moves into an old mansion that has long been uninhabited. Their goal is simple, but very ambitious: to thoroughly restore the house, and then sell it for a good amount, so that with the proceeds they can finally realize their long-standing dream - to build an ideal home that fully reflects their ideas about their own home. However, plans begin to fall apart when strange, inexplicable and frightening phenomena begin to occur within the walls of this gloomy building. These events affect each member of the family, but they leave a particularly heavy mark on Olivia, who becomes increasingly vulnerable to the mysterious forces of the monastery. Over time, the atmosphere of the house increasingly poisons their lives, destroying not only their physical health, but also their inner world, forcing them to doubt the sanity of their own minds.

Years pass, the old house is left behind, and the Crane children become adults with their own lives and concerns. But like a shadow of the past that cannot be thrown off, terrible memories continue to haunt each of them, reminding them of the fateful night when they were all forced to leave the mansion. An unexpected tragic event forces the family to face this dark episode again - now they must delve into the essence of the hidden secrets of the house in order to understand the true cause of the horrors that traumatized them. The funeral preparations become not only a difficult time for each member of the Crain family, but also an opportunity to delve into the painful depths of long-suppressed memories. As they come face to face with their nightmares, they find themselves caught up in a painful showdown within a family relationship still full of conflicts and unfinished conversations. These unresolved issues threaten to become the family's final test before they can find a path to forgiveness and liberation.
