Plot

The series "The Last of Us" immerses the viewer in a post-apocalyptic reality, where the Cordyceps fungus, mutated due to climate change, caused people to turn into zombies. The collapse of civilization led to the formation of isolated groups of survivors.

The story centers on Joel, a seasoned smuggler who suffered a personal tragedy at the onset of the disaster, and Ellie, who has a unique immunity to the deadly virus. The Fireflies see Ellie as the key to creating a vaccine, but their hopes are dashed, and the development of a cure remains an unfulfilled dream.
